I was here a few weeks ago for a friend's bachelorette dinner (party of 7) and had a great time! We were set to arrive 30-45 minutes before our reservation, so we called ahead and Rollati said they would be able to accommodate us, which was awesome. We were seated at a table in an alcove towards the back of the restaurant. I loved that it was far enough from the other tables that it felt like we were in our own bubble, so talking was easy. Our server was also amazing; she had such great energy and let us know that accommodations could be made for certain items. One example was for the mocktails - one friend doesn't like the taste of non-alcoholic liquor, so our server let her know that those drinks could be made without it. I also liked that there was a good selection of vegetarian items on the menu. Most Italian places cook meat directly in the sauce, which limits my options as someone who doesn't eat red meat. For appetizers, we got the garlic bread and mozzarella sticks, which were both delicious. Not too salty or greasy at all. For my entree I chose the "rigatoni alla vodka" and added grilled chicken. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was simple but flavorful. The chicken was a bit bland but in the end I was glad for that because it let the flavors of the sauce shine through. The portion sizes were perfect as well - I felt full but not overwhelmingly so, with just enough room for dessert. For my drink I tried the "calabrian kick margarita", which was good but a little too savory for my taste. I wish the blood orange and lime flavors had stood out more. If you prefer sweeter drinks I'd skip this one. For dessert we all shared the tiramisu, chocolate budino (which is like a chocolate mousse/pudding), and the gelato sundae with chocolate and vanilla gelato plus caramel and chocolate sauce. They were all really good without being overwhelmingly sweet. My personal favorite was the gelato sundae. I had such a great experience that I can't wait to come back again! I was especially impressed by their willingness to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences for a larger group like ours, so definitely recommend this place for anyone with similar needs.

We came for brunch on a Saturday and I was impressed with the interior of the restaurant! It's spacious and clean with plenty of room between tables. Not too upscale but still a really nice dining room. The brunch menu has a few brunch options as well as favorites off of their dinner menu. The pastas and pizza we tried were delicious. Price is about on par with other similar Italian restaurants, although I do think the pasta portion is on the small side. We also tried two cocktails, a limoncello spritz and the nutty Italian. Both were beautifully presented and great drinks.

Its been a while since I have had a new Italian restaurant that did such a good job with taste, service, and ambiance. The drinks that was spot on, I just remembered the names of them. They were perfectly balanced and refreshing. Our waiter recommended the spicy pie and heirloom salad, and she was amazing. The calamari/Fritto Misto was out of this word I love every bit of every food I had. The ambiance was quite nice. This is where you can have a date or try to get some amazing pizza. I would come here again, I am planning to take my family with me to try more of their food.

This was my first time at this particular restaurant and I just came for a quick drink and an appetizer before meeting up in Japan town with some friends. I was really surprised with how refreshing the chicken sliders were and I liked the fresh marinara sauce drizzled over the top! Sorry, I forgot to take a picture! I was really hungry! The wine was very refreshing and crisp. Perfect on a hot Summer day! They also had a lady doing samples of this orange spritzer drink out front so I was lucky. I got to try a little sample and never had that drink before, and she said the back of the bottle recipes as well as the barcode. So I will definitely have to check out their QR code if I buy a bottle. Everything inside the restaurant was incredibly clean and modern and I loved how you could actually buy items from their back shelf! It gave you that warm Italian home feeling!! The bartenders were all very busy and friendly! I really liked their lounge area as well as the seated area towards one side of the restaurant. I had no idea this restaurant opened back in September 2023! Lol goodness I haven't been to downtown San Jose in so long! I will say street parking is pretty much unheard of and you may as well go in the garage , there's a lot of cameras nearby, so I felt better parking in a garage versus the street. As I walked a couple blocks down from the parking garage, there were a number of homeless people walking and talking to themselves or someone else they thought was there. As I walked by, I made sure to look at the restaurant and I know the restaurant cannot do anything about, but it did make me feel a bit leery, walking by myself, and I was glad it was daytime.
